The Bottom Of The Barrel
Having countered Nigel Lawson's appearance on Today with an interview on the same show with a green activist and another full segment today with a Met Office scientist, the BBC has rounded things off with a website article, which also seeks to undermine Lawson's position. I wonder if they are finished yet? Most of the article is just relaying the anti-free-speech positions of various jumped up totalitarian scientists and jumped up totalitarian greens. However, the author of the piece chooses to do a bit of freelance Lawson bashing of their own. But they are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for arguments, and if truth be told it's a bit of a car crash, at least if you care anything for logical argument. This is because, in response to a Lawson statement about the history of weather extremes...
The former cabinet minister said that "all the experts say there hasn't been" an increase in extreme weather events, citing the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
...the author can only come up with something about predictions of weather extremes:
An IPCC working group has said: "Climate change may increase the risk of river and coastal flooding."
Not the sharpest tool in the box, are they?
