Lord Frost joins Net Zero Watch
Net Zero Watch is pleased to announce the appointment of David Frost, the Rt Hon Lord Frost of Allenton, to the board of the company.
Net Zero Watch, founded by former Chancellor of the Exchequer Lord Lawson, highlights the serious implications of expensive and poorly considered climate change policies. Lord Frost has long been a critic of the UK’s current energy policy, and his appointment reflects the importance that he ascribes to this issue. He will not be remunerated for this role.
Net Zero Watch Chairman Neil Record said:
I am delighted to welcome Lord Frost to our Board. His extensive experience in government, both as a public servant and as a cabinet minister, will give Net Zero Watch a greater profile and a powerful advocate for our arguments.”
Lord Frost said:
I am delighted to become a director of Net Zero Watch at this important moment. Current energy policy is facing scrutiny as never before, as UK energy costs continue to increase and the consequences of the dash to Net Zero are becoming more and more obvious to people across Britain. I look forward to helping explain what is going wrong and why the country needs to get on a different path.”
